My hubby realized I needed a place for my necklaces the day I brought him two that were very tangled together. So for Christmas he built this for me. He bought a bamboo silverware organizer and drilled hooks into it. It looks awesome, was an easy project, and I LOVE it! I think I might need another one soon though...haha My daughter wanted one too so we made a simpler necklace holder for her. We just bought a key holder from the hardware store. It was only $7. ![]() |

Let kids have fun!
It's intimidating starting the very first post....but I have decided to find courage and just jump in!
So, hello! Welcome to our world of SAHM ideas to keep sane, to have fun, and to feel creative!
Part of the fun of being a mom is seeing what your kids can do. I love to have a clean house, but I love to let my daughter do crafts even more...thus making messes. So what if there is frosting all over my table and sprinkles on the ground. The memory that we shared making this will always be in my mind.

I also feel that the crafts I do now with my 3 year old are especially important since she must share me with her new baby sister. I know it's hard on M to not have all my attention all day long anymore. The moments I have during J's naps are becoming very special too. M talks to me more about her thoughts and feelings during these times. It is fascinating to see what a toddler thinks about the world.
